Dubstep rant

I wish we could all take a step back and think about where all this music came from. Ill be the first to admit that i get excited about a new rusko or skrillex track just as much as the other guy but it seems to be loosing touch with it roots really fast. Its called DUBstep for a reason. Its true roots are dub music which is a predecessor to reggae as we know it today.....Imagine if you dropped "scary monsters and nice spirits" on Lee Scratch Perry and told him that his music would one day inspire this madness.

I understand your confusion, you associate Mexican slang with all Spanish speaking countries the same way you associate dubstep with music.

man real dubstep is so not candyland shit. It's dark and expressive and angry and unforgiving. Fuck candyland rave shit. That couldn't be more different from legit dubstep.
