I have plans, big plans! But aside from the Pub Crawl in 2 weeks. Orooooooooooooo!
I intend on doin'a bit of skiing. I'm new to all this since the snow ain't be fallin' where I live. So I moved down south to Dunedin, New Zealand. I was after some advice on what gears' to get hooked up with. Should I buy some gear or hang out for a while. Cause I will be in the USA by November to get some dough and checkout the snow. Cheers doods.

It'll most likely be a lot cheaper for gear in the states.

It is cheaper.
Eg..My 1080s. I got a decent discount at the store cause I worked at the place, so they cost me US$338. (US$519 rrp).
So at the time they cost me NZ$845, (NZ$1297 rrp).
They are for sale here in NZ for NZ$1200-1400.
So yea.. but just make sure because some things can be more expensive.
What gravity?

werd, you're probably better off getting clothes and stuff here coz all the real good brands are made here and quite cheap but anything equipment wise like skis, boots and bindings grab in the US

yea, buy your shit from Corbett's Ski Shop. look for their website on yahoo.com 'cause i forget it right now than get the number and call them to check for prices. i believe they ship stuff across the world and i'm not sure how much their stuff is but i do know it's a lot cheeper than most places in North America.
