express. i like it a lot so far. it's more intuitive to me than reason, which is the only other recording interface i've really used. but in general express has been able to meet pretty much all of my needs. my roommate has the full studio package, and as far as i can tell, it wouldn't be worth it for my day-to-day uses

thats sick I'm considering buying it but since there is no demo for it i don't really want to spend a few hundred dollars on it then not like the interface haha. I suppose there's probably a torrent for it though somewhere

yeah, i bought mine because i had some extra scholarship money to burn and wrote it off as an academic expense, but my roommate pirated his.  i'm sure there are plenty of good versions out there
