Going out in 10 days for a week, whhich one has better park

live in CO but have never skied either park haha, but ive heard that they're both similar in size with key maybe a little bigger. Breck is better for jumps, keystone for rails

It's all about personal preference so imo i say if you like jumps more then breck is where it's at. If you wanna hit rails then keystone has more of a variety. Both are sick regardless!

breck definitely knows how to make a jump. I find Freeway and all of Breck's diverse parks to have a lot of great features, Keystone and A51 have a lot of good rails/boxes/cannons/etc and the jump line is heavy but i def would say Breck > Key.

if you have a car ski breck, then dip out to Key for night skiing! I DO THIS

i  went to both breck and keystone this season....i found both really good. but i enjoyed keystone more due to the fact that after hitting boxes i went and caught a couple runs on the snow cat.

This is the truth.  I'm in favor of Breck because I love their jumps and really don't like Keystone's, but if you're coming from the East then both of these are great places to hit up.  Try them both out!

I went up about a month ago and I would def recommend keystone. breck has some dope jumps but keystone's set ups are way more fun, specially railss. have fun out there, wish I could go back.

what other people have said... breck has better jumps, but their variety and quantity of rails/boxes is less than Keystone. But... Breck always seemed to have longer lift lines than Keystone. Keystone has a lift that is dedicated to the park where as at Breck the main char for servicing the park also gets used by people to ski groomers.

Keystone:

Pros:
-Less crowded (no "ski town")
-Better rail set up (like a skateboard park filled with features, watch some videos)
-Park lift line is short, and on top of the park.

Cons:
-All the jump lines besides the large 3 jump line are meh-ly built compared to breck

Breck:

Pros:
-Jumps are built perfectly throughout
-Fun rails, but fewer
-I personally find Breck more fun to ride than Key when not in the park

Cons:
-Crowded as shit

Basically, if youre looking to lap rails go to key, jumps hit breck. What I like to do is ski breck until it gets busy (around 10:30) and then head over to keystone (15 minute drive).

Def. check out both. Breck during the week and key on the weekend if you are in that sort of a situation.

i didn't say he was skiing for one day... you would still have to buy tickets everyday. and sorry, i was unaware that they were transferrable. I wasn't talking to the OP in that post either, just a guy who said he should go to both, so i thought that would be pretty expensive.

Like everyone said, Keystone is you want flow through sick rails. Park chair is sick. I hate the park chair at Breck, cuz it barely goes next to the park.

keystone for rails, breck for jumps. both parks are sick though and will be incredible either way especially if your from the east coast. crowds for me is a big deal though so i usually hit keystone but it varies depending on time of yr i hate having to wait to hit something, just makes you second guess...so i say hit both while you're out there, summit stage bus runs direct between the two last time i checked

everyone hating on Keystone's jumps needs to realize that he's coming from the east coast, Keystone's jumps will still blow his mind. Everyone has said everything else that needs to be said, except that Breck has better mountain terrain up top compared to Keystone. Also, check out A Basin up the road from Keystone for a sick pow day with very short lift lines.

I don't think anyone was hating on Keystone's jumps. Everyone can agree Keystone has sick jumps, but Breck overall has better ones. Just like nobody was hating on Breck's jibs, Keystone simply has a better variety/cooler jibs.

how many days are you going for? are you flying half way across the country to ski park?

Keystone has better trees but breck has better chutes. The windows at key is fantastic but a little on the short side but the outback can make up for that on a powder day. Breck's 6 chair is a good time so check that out.

Also if you are skiing three days you can go check out Vail for a day or beaver creek. both are better than breck or key. if you're here five days you can ski vail or bc twice! skip night skiing, it is the coldest most boring time of your life but definitely check out abasin for the montezuma bowl and east wall. unless you're coming for park then stay away from abay.

 I think im gonna ride for 4 or 5 days not sure yet, but i think we decided to split it up either 2 and 2 or 2 breck and 3 for keystone.

I went out to abasin when i was younger and it wasnt that great so i think we are gonna stay away from there.

Breks jumps have been shitty lately in park lane except for the last 2, its crowded, there are like ten rails, and the vibe seems a lot more uptight.

Keystones parklane jumps have been better lately(IMO), never crowded because the park is way more spread out, they have like 100 boxes and many of them are doubled up in length after a recent park update and everyone there is just riding and having fun.

Plus you can see pretty much all of A51 from the lift and watch people thrown down! :)

I don't ski park a lot but I've been to Keystone 4x this year and I've had more fun all 4 times then the 2 times I went to Breck. And no I don't completely suck shit
