I'm in desperate need of new ski pants. I've shredded the legs on my old ones to pieces and need something more durable. Does any one know the names of some pants that have real good waterproofing that are also durable against rips from ski edges. I know oakley made a corduroy pant a while ago and holden makes pants out of hemp, but its tough to find anything like that now. Anything would be a huge help. Thanks.
I have a pair of Nike 6.0 Budmo pants. They look pretty sick, but after only 3 days of skiing, they ripped pretty bad. I had a pair of North Face pants for almost 2 years before i got these, and they never ripped once. So I wouldn't go with Nike 6.0.
I have an old pair of Burton pants that I've had for like 3-4 years and they are fucking bombproof. Multiple falls on rails, edges hitting the bottoms, etc, and not a single cut on them. Pretty damn warm too. I have no idea what they're called but I think they were only like 150ish when I got them.
Trew bibs. I dont know what that fabric is around the cuffs, but I have cuts in my boots, bindings and skis from crossing my skis and hitting the inside edge against them all... but my pants are immune.
