Recommend me a video game.

I'll be living with my Grandma for the next 4-6 weeks, and she has no internet. I'll be borrowing an Xbox 360 to play at her house, but will have no games.

Recommend me a game to buy that will keep me occupied for the next while without xbox live.

I really like skate and GTA, so I'm already considering them.

A short summary of what the game is like would be nice.

Bioshock 1 and 2. Oblivion Elder Scrolls 4, Fallout, Forza motorsport 2. The Bethesda games will last you pretty much the whole time.

Fallout 3. get the game of the year edition to get all the DLC.

Get Fallout New Vegas as well if you can afford it.

but yeah, get Skate, you can waste hours in Skate 3 making parks and such.

Fifa games always kick ass, and NBA 2K11 is unreal.

Assassin's Creed, Red Dead Redemption.

Get a GBA emulator for your computer and play Mario Tennis and Pokemon.

Skate 3, Grand Theft Auto, sports games, games like Oblivion/Fallout (I'm not a huge fan, but they'll last you a long ass time), umm maybe the new Assassin's Creed. Stoked: Big Air Edition was pretty fun for a while and you can pick it up for like 15 bucks at Gamestop. Oh, how could I forget...FORZA 3! You can do tons of races, and when your'e bored you can build up a drift car and do gymkhana shit

....actually, nevermind on the gymkhana, you need to get the DLC pack for the tracks. Woops. But you should still get Forza.

Red Dead Redemption: Sandbox style game placed in the old west. REally fun. tons of gameplay

Dead Space: This was the first game to actually scare me. get it!

Star Wars (Knights of the Old republic I and II): Both games are RPG based and will be perfect to play at your grandmas house.

Dante's Inferno: Such a fun game, especially if you know background information on Dante

for the best bang for your buck get fallout 3, im pretty sure they make an edition with all the downloadable content already on it. you will get hours and hours (150+ hours) of game play

OP i played skate3 for the first time in a while last night and landed my first triple flip, and it stoked me out! so what does this tell you? well yeah, that im a dork, but also that this game is fun as shit and offers tons of hours of entertainment. if you like skiing and video games i cant imagine you not liking it

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood .  Game is real fun, story is long and will give you tons of gameplay. Basically you running around Rome killing people and completing missions while climbing around shit and being a total bad ass. Fun game for sure.
