Replying to How to get corks around?

Alright so I pretty much understand how to do a cork 5, which is the next trick I'm going for. I know exactly how to go off axis, but I've never actually heard anyone explain how to get my feet below me before I land. I feel like unless there's a midget standing in the landing area getting waiting to get flying kicked in the face, the trick would be a total fail, ending with me landing sideways. I've asked my older brother who's really good at off axis spins and mistys and rodeos and shit, but the best I got out of him is "You just have to feel it". Anyone with experience got any tips?
