Yeah I was there spring break 2 years ago. Traveled the entire country, then went into Cambodia and saw Angkor Wat and other parts of Cambodia. Absolutely incredible place

Well, I'm arriving in bangkok September 19th, 2011. Four days after my 18th birthday, my one way ticket is already booked.

First, flying down to Bali, Lombok, Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Then back up to Koh tao, Koh phagnan, Koh samui for december. New years full moon party anyone?!

Then Chang mai, and more of the north of Thailand.. over to northern laos. Vang vieng is calling me, as well as the Gibbon experience (search it up) then down to Vientiane and fly to Hanoi.

Hanoi --> Halong bay, no idea where else to visit in Vietnam, recommend something if you would?! Vietnam looks amazing, my sister said it was her favourite country out of any of the countries that she has been to. She has been to all of these i've listed, minus Indonesia, plus Australia.

Down through Vietnam, back through Cambodia to check out the city of Angkor.

Back across to bangkok, and home to Vancouver.

Okay, that was a little bit off topic. I'm just stoked.

yo ive travled both thaliand and vietnam extensively.
(bangkok-chang mai- nothern hills- mae hong son- bangkok- surat thani- koh tao/koh nangyuan+ some other islands- bangkok)

pm me if you want any advice.. super jealous thouhg should be a fucking awesome trip..

nam is cool, but thailand supersedes it in almost every regard in my not so humble opinion

I would love to romp the shit out of the jungles in indochina. It would be a botanical dream come true. Plus shit is cheap as fuck in Thailand. My homie dane was stationed in Thailand and he said shit literally off the chain over there. He threw pingpong balls at strippers, threw a midget off of a bridge for a dollar, and shot cows with an AK-47 for ten bucks. If you are American, odds are you can do anything you want short of killing a man in Thailand. I would love to hit up Vietnam and Laos, but the generation before mine kind of dropped a lot of bombs on them, so I don't know how well recieved I would be.
