Do AR6's still hold up

so... my afterbangs fucking suck and i cant use em anymore, so!

i got a pretty good deal on some new 08-09 ar6's, i think i'm gonna bite on the deal, but i just want some stoak

do they still hold up compared to park skis now?

i have 2010 ar6s. yeah they hold up. they're bulletproof. take so much abuse and haven't cracked an edge or anything. the topsheets chip a bit but my understanding is that's widespread but doesn't affect the ski in any way.

the thing i love about them is that they're really light too. much lighter than my k2s. i have marker griffons mounted on them and love them.

I got the 08/09 ones and they hold up super good!! im not a jump guy, so i spend most of the time hitting rails in the park. bases and edges look great, not even a single crack. just a few scratchs which are signs of usage but nothing serious. In the other hand topsheets dont hold up as well i would like them to do, but since this isnt afecting the performance of the ski there's nothing that a sticker cant cover up! In other words they're bomb proof and i can say that im super satisfied with them!! So if you got a sweet deal just go for it!!!! you won't regret it...hope this helps

Mine after a season were fine, no ede cracks or anything and the only thing is the chip like a Mofo. But such a dope ski super light aswelll

I'm still rocking the 07-08 AR6s and they ski fine. The topsheets are chipped to shit, and they're getting pretty noodly on me, but other than that there's no major problems.

My friend's AR5's are holding up better than his Surface No Times. 8 days of riding on the No Times and a snapped tail, over 3 years of riding/urban and his AR5's only have a few edge cracks. So, I'm guessing that the AR6 was built better and will last longer.

the topsheets chip a fair amount but that doesnt effect the performance at all..the bases are perfectly fine and the edges are perfect..im on season two of my ar6's and i love em

if you want an absolutely bombproof, great-riding, light, fun ski, and don't care about topsheet chips, then get them. I have skied at least 150+ days of park on mine and i don't have a single edge-crack. the one issue i have encountered is that mine rockered after about a season, but hey, now i have rockered AR6's! sick! hahaha. but for real, they are awesome.

I have the ones from 08/09 and after 2 years of abuse they only have 1 edge crack. Definitely one of the more durable park skis out there not to mention that they perform extremely well in not only the park but as well as all over the mountain. You won't regret it!

Yup they hold up. Armada makes a solid product and it'd be tough to find too many people who disagree.

i have the 08-09 AR6 and the durability of these skis is sooo good. i'm always in the park or in the trees with em and the bases are perfect and the edges are in almost perfect condish.

same here. i only had like 20 days on mine and the tails were really rockered but armada warrantied them!

I have a pair of 08/09 ones and they're to this day my favorite skis I've owned. The noses are pretty soft now, but I love them. No real base damage, and no edge damage other than the fact that they're completely rounded from rails. Some moderate topsheet chipping but that's normal with armadas.
