The moon was formed when a metoeor hit the earth during the late Haidean period. This caused a large amount of the earths mass to be shot into space which eventually collected into the moon we have today. okay first off, astrology is not a science. you're thinking of astronomy. good thing you've never said anything wrong in your life like bill has.

secondly, this rant has very little to do with the incomprehensible other post you made. I'm not even defending what he said. he's a TV personality and acts condescending on purpose. clearly I believe in science, I work in science. but there is still a lot of things science cannot explain and that is where faith steps in. I'm not religious at all, but many people are and they use it to understand and deal with the unknown. in the past when mankind knew a lot less, religion was critical. it is becoming less and less so, but there is still plenty about the universe we do not understand. he makes a valid argument that nobody knows exactly how the moon formed. nobody knows how life first arose. nobody knows what came before the big bang. People claim to have 'theories' but the definition of a theory is that it must be testable. Some of these theories are currently untestable and are therefore just speculation.

my main problem is that the title of this thread is misquoting him as saying something ridiculous that he VERY CLEARLY DID NOT SAY. yet all the little children here see the words 'bill o'reilly' and immediately post some dumb shit without even listing to what he said.

no shit. he forgot mars had moons, not the entire fucking solar system. that is a pretty minor mistake and hardly worth mentioning let alone making a thread about. and yet all these clowns jump all over him for something he didn't even say.

Well thats the thing, its all his viewpoint. It's his youtube channel where he discusses his thoughts, and pretty much all he said was

"HOW'D THE MOON GET THERE? WHY DO WE HAVE LIFE AND OTHER PLANET'S DON'T?"

He then proceeded to use mars and venus as Examples to say that they don't have moon's, it's not just some random mistake, for all we know he could have planned out his response for an hour.

Bill is the biggest troll I have ever seen. His show has incorporates no intelligent thought whatsoever, if he really has the #1 most watched new tv show, it's no wonder why this country is filled with countless morons. I mean seriously the guy is impossible to argue with, he is so ignorant and pig headed that he is unable to even comprehend any view different of his own.

His show should be moved to MTV, because the only useful entertaining shit that comes out of that mans mouth is when he berates the people he debates with. And turns what was a debate into full on shouting match, because Bill cannot argue with any sort of logical thought on his own, but instead just gets the last word before abruptly ending the debate making it seem like he actually won the argument.

yes there are extreme changes that need to be made to better society, but the changes he believes need to be made are ridiculously stupid. now yes, this is purely just my opinion. ive watched his show a good amount, his movie religulous, and more and while he does occasionally make some decent arguments, 99% of the time he resorts to making some witty, somewhat funny, smart ass comment, that does nothing to disprove of the opponents statement, people laugh, and he "wins" or gets off the hook. he really relies on the audiences stupidity to make it seem like he's winning an argument.
o'reilly and others at least make good arguments.
