The Slicer is a really fun ski. I've been using it for most of this season because I work in a rental shop (free use of the fleet) and I've been waiting on my proper skis to arrive. I've used it in waist-deep snow and on bulletproof groomers. Due to the rocker, it doesn't like really hard conditions so much (although it will carve anything that's not ice), but in the soft stuff it floats rather well.

As an all-mountain ski, I love it. I can't really comment on its park performance, as we don't have a park at Revelstoke. It's on the softer side of mid-stiff though, and easily playful enough in the tips and tails for park. I'd seriously consider buying a pair if I didn't have skis coming already. The only thing I don't like about the ski is the topsheet! If I could make any changes to the ski, I'd maybe increase the width by up to 5mm, and add a couple of mm to the rocker in the tips and tails.

I can't comment on the other skis you've mentioned I'm afraid, as I haven't skied either of them. Good luck with your decision.

which ski is stiffer Blend or S3?

hopefully I can find a shop in NY where I can demo the s3's and the lines and  see which one I like better. Thanks for the help

I would get the s3. It was the best ski I have ever ridden. Carved great and had good float. Didn't get to try it in the park because it was only a demo and couldn't push it because the bindings were set 3 DIN things lower than what I ride.

This!! I have the same ski.. and the thing RIPS. love it. Agree with everything he says.

Have the S3. It slays. Floats in the powder decently, but can throw down in the park. Light, not too fat underfoot, but gets decent out after the foot. Highly recommend.
