So I have a 2007 F-150, I am starting to hear a noise from under the cab of the truck. It's a kinda loud squeaky noise. It only happens when I press the gas. It I am rolling down the road, but not pressing the gas, it makes no sound. Any ideas? Someone mentioned maybe a U-Joint? How much could this set me back? How many labor hours would this take? OH, it also does not seem to happen at higher speeds.
i got the same probs but with my honda civic.. well maybe same problem. try pushing on the hood. And if it squeeks its the hood. not potential your truck.
a belt maybe? also i suggest looking around online in ford forums n such. i guarantee that any problem you have with that truck someone else has had. just look around on the forums.
my friend has an 01 F150 that seemed to have some of the same problems. it would literally feel like it was going to shake apart and made the worst sound. for him it ended up having to do with the exhaust system.
