Alright woah,

So say you have a gun and your grandma is about to hold a 12 puppies over a fire and kill them. Society says that killing your grandmother is the wrong thing to do and you would be in more trouble with the law for killing her than her killing the twelve puppies. However, by killing your grandma you are technically saving 12 lives and only taking one and the puppies will most likely live longer than your grandma. Who will contribute more to society in the remainders of their lives and is that how we measure the worth of life? What is the right thing to do, and what is the wrong thing to do?

1000 dogs < 1 person. It's a fucking dog. Not saying we should just kill dogs for lolz, I have a dog and they are fantastic animals of superb place in society, but seriously. You don't kill people to save a dog.

I'm autistic, so you might not like my answer. Why is your grandmother doing that? If it's because she's mad, then kill the bitch. It's not worth wasting the dollars on her hospital bills if she's deranged.

And who are we to say that we're more important than any other animal? We have the power to take others lives, but that doesn't make us any more valuable. The world is overcrowded WITH PEOPLE, yet we still continue to save everyone we can. This =/= Darwin's theory of Natural Selection.

It seems to make sense, though, that if those dogs were ants or mosquitos, killing your grandmother would be considered wrong by society without question. There must be more to the equation regarding how important life is. Perhaps contributing to society is something society values... but isn't that somewhat circular?


Also, if its your own gramda, it will probably seem more wrong to kill her than it would for a stranger to kill their grandmother. Its clearly quite subjective in a number of ways.

However dogs are awesome and you need to be a sick person to kill a dog, for fun
and cats suck. They do nothing but sit around and go kill rabbits
