Scott Fix Illuminator Lens?

Soooo, just got my new fix's today, and they're pretty sick, except for the lenses. Not sure if this is just my own stupidity (tell me if it is), but I expected the illuminator lenses to be completely mirrored. I was really disappointed when I could clearly see my eyes through the lens. Are they normally like this? Would i have any better luck w/ the silver chrome lens?

plus having people being able to see your eyes isn't that big of a deal.

I have the Red Chrome and the Silver Chrome. I would say the red chrome is the best one to go with if you dont want people to see your eyes. You can still see them a little with the silver chrome but the silver is also super sick.
