If the jump was perfect, the inrun clean, would you hit Chads Gap?

I race skicroos, and the last jump on the x course guys were taking about 150', which is chads size.

I was thinking the same thing. I probably wouldnt hit the skicross one and I definitely would not hit chads. There are way to many factors to take into consideration on a backcountry jump like that.

as long as i knew, like down down, the speed, i dont see why not. from the looks of it there is a big compression about 20 yards before the cheese wedge, but the actual landing is SUPER SMOOTH.

as long as you know the speed, the worst case is you tomahawk in some pow? Ive never had a problem with hitting big stuff as long as i know the speed

yah no shit. i have tomahawked in pow doing 50+mph easy, and it sucks but i have had much worse crashes. All you have to do is get a good even pop and hold your shit together in the air. I prefer to urlacher big jumps, 65ft+, when hitting them for the first time, and i would do the same with chads.

Once you get over the mental part, i dont think it would be a rediculous feat.

I would do the same.
IF and only IF every person before me landed in a good spot and no one overshot or cased it.

But I cant really say for sure until I see it. It would one and a half the size anything ive ever hit before.

A good friend of mine who is basically at my skiing level maybe a little above looked at chads in person when he was filming pyramid gap and said absolutely no way in hell.

Impossible to tell unless you see the jump. Videos aren't that good of indication when it comes to things like this. I probably wouldn't but then again I would feel real shitty if I passed up an oppurtunity like that.
