Shit dude same happened to me today. Fuckin sucks! Everything's like destroyed cause in my house the water went from the second floor all the way to my basement and everythings wet. I had to use a shop vac for hours. We're having some company come out tomorrow and check out the damage. Maybe get some new stuff with insurance money which would be sick, but it stills a bitch to clean up.

Happened to me Christmas break at the place I rent at school. Landlord came and fixed it personally right after we called him. Call your landlord, maybe he/she will fix it. Our landlord even offered to pay or electric bill cause the pipe let out a lot of water in our garage.

no, it was in our coat closet so some damp to soaked jackets and duffel bags. we have wet drywall and a broken quarter inch pipe, but nothing insurance can't take care of.

That sucks for sure, sounds like it could've been worse though.
