so i tried a rodeo5 for my first time yesterday and i had trouble getting my last 180, any suggestions? im going to try it again in like 20 mins which is why im posting here, sorry its not in video selection!
I tried doing rodeos last season but the jump i was trying it on was too small so i couldnt get the last 90.
but from the vid, it looks like you are doing fine until the last 180. you spread out too much causing you to stop your rotation. if you stayed tucked the entire time, im pretty sure you will land it.
try to get tucked up a bit more in the air. I had the same problem when I was learning until I concentrated on grabbing(just try to touch your boots the whole time). The more opened up you are in the air, the slower you will come around.
Commit through the whole trick... it looks like you're getting nervous partway through the trick and kicking your legs out... confidence and patience are key.
Your doing a flat 5, which is slightly harder to get around. You have to look over that left shoulder at 270, spot the landing and whip your feet around to stomp it. Just commit, you've got it.
If you want to do rodeo, lean back (instead of just going flat) and do the same sort of deal.
hey man i ski at creek all the time.. i've seen you there a few times. it looks like you're throwing a little to forward and the rotation is set awkwardly. throw back more and you've got it
