How to Ski Steamboat?????

Dead Newschoolers,
So I'm heading to Steamboat this weekend to ride for a couple days. I have been skiing in Colorado my entire life, but this will be my first time experiencing Steamboat. I will be with a buddy, and we are both very good skiers. I have a few questions if any would be kind enough to help me out.
1) Where are the best spots on the mountain to scare ourselves? Little hikes are not a problem.
2) Any secret stashes that you know of? They would much appreciated.
3) Is there anybody that would want to shred on Friday and give two fellow skiers a tour? Any hospitality would be rewarded with free booze and ganja.

If there's new snow I'd quick lap Sundown then head over to Christmas Tree Bowl and everything beyond as the day goes on.....short xmas tree bowl/no names/pats/east face there aren't a whole lot of big cliffs on the boat.....few off of pony/pioneer ridge.

there's a sidecountry gate off skiers right of the top of the pony express. just cut left once it starts getting way flatter. amazing stashes in there.
take the run "east face" on the hike-to terrain at the top halfway down to the flat spot then go far skiers right, you'll hit a nice sorta steep stash but have to pole your way out in the end.

There is literally no where at Steamboat to "scare yourselves". I would get so bored if I lived there. Good snow but no terrain.

I've been to Steamboat once but when I was there Christmas Tree Bowl was legit. Just so many sick drops and amazing pow stashes so thats definitely a place to hit up!

Hmmmmm....time to get inverted or spinning off the many approachable Steamboat drops me thinks.

this person speaks the truuf. Steamboat's terrain is pretty mellow, even in the BC. You want some gnar, go shred Crested Butte....in bounds open to the public stuff that most people would die on.
