Summer ski camps

im looking to go to a ski camp in the summer.any suggestions? ive looked at windells and i was wondering what people thought of it.

i went to windells 2 summers ago. it was so fun. they have tramps and now a dryslope and 2 bag jumps. there park is no nice dude. im looking do go in the next year or two, i just need money but deff hit up windells. after all it is the funnest place on earth

Your karma was 10/10 for some reason. well, now it's not.

But to op, windells is great if you have and are willing to spend 2 grand. if not MHSSC (Mount hood summer ski camp) is an option

is it good for someone who wants to learn alot of new things or just to tune your skills. bc i cant do as much in the park as i want to.

its good for everything. they level you and shit. the coaches are really flexable on what you want to do. when i went I wanted to learn so much new stuff but I just ended up cleaning up all my spins. I learned a lot on rails and boxes. The coaches encourage you to try new stuff but dont push you. its a really chill place

thanks man this helped alot.i think im gunna go there this summer. but do u have to learn to skateboard there bc it says after the mountain theres a skateboard sesh?

nah dude. u can do watever when u get back to camp. u can chill, skateboard, tramp it up in B.O.B, bike. theres so much shit to do and your not restricted to anything!

if ur looking for somthing a little less money than windells  i say go for mt hood summer ski camps (MHSSC)... it is on the same mountain as windells (mt hood)  but only costs about $1145 a session.. i also heard the coaching here is better than windells cause theres less people... im going this summer

see my sig for link to MHSSC site. its not as flashy as windells and doesnt have as much cool stuff. but its almost 1/2 the price. i love that place. sooo many chill people. so many friends...

and i went to windells last year... it was the best time ever!
and im goin again this year.

I think I'm going to windells this summer. Few questions. When everybody is skating and biking and such is that when you can use the tramp and dryslope?

Three is about the time when the vans start getting back to campus from the hill. So right around three is when B.O.B. (where the two tramps/foam pit are) opens and the dry slope (rail garden) opens. So from three until ten o'clock there are an assortment of activities going on where you can win free stuff. The dry slope with the airbag usually opened around six'ish and seshed till around 10ish. There is always something going on and always chances to win free stuff.

Oh sick. I don't skate or anything so I just want to work on skiing the whole time haha. Also do dry slopes ruin your skis?

i went the year before they had the dryslopes. The rails dryslope people said sucked. they said the dryslope bagjump was good though. when i went the tramp was the place to be, you learn so many new tricks on there

well there is 2 tramps now that that give you the option to jump into the foam pit but there is also a dryslope into the bagjump. hope this helps
