^^i wouldn't judge a ski on its weight unless you're gonna be hiking/skinning on them....
EPP == big fun noodle ski thats super fun all over the mountain but needs to be ridden a bit more careful in variable conditions due to the softness ... on ice the epp just gets scary, you'll feel like you're going to die once the tips start to shatter
NL = don't know much about it except that its better suited for all-round skiing and charging, so itll definately out-perform the epp in crud/ice..
so ask yourself how you ski and where you ski ..
if you often get powder and good snow and you're more of a "jibbing" skier the EPP is suited for you
if you have more variable snow, crud, icepatches, etc... and you like to charge a bit more the NL might be better for you ...
