Replying to Marker 12.0 free

i have marker 12.0 free bindings. yes, i kno they are not the greatest bindings so i dont need anyone to lecture me about how shitty they are or whatever. my question would be about the recent recall with marker bindings. both of mine are broken right now at and still under warranty but i wanted to know if anyone knew any details of the recall. the website offered a one sentence description of the problem and the email i got back basically outlined wht the website said. the part tht continues to break in my bindings are the brake pieces. i was wondering if anyone knew if these problems are related or if i should just go get a refund.
