I'm 5' 5 and 130 pounds, what bindings would fit me best? I've heard that the squires are not durable at all but are the griffons worth the extra $50?

I dont think they arent durable, i just think that you can buy something better for extra bucks. OP if you dont have a big budget get the squires.

DO NOT set your DINs yourself. Get them set when you buy your bindings from a shop. And as long as you don't ski super hard, Squires should probably be ok for you since you're really light.

Only a shop can legally tell you.
And. If you're going to get either the Squire or Griffon, in my opinion get the Griffon over the Squire any day it will hold up a lot better in the long run.

The shop just told me i should set my DIN's at 5 and that i shouldn't get the griffon's cause they start at a 6, correct?

Griffons start at 4. But using the lower 2 settings is sketch (?).
