WD External Hard Drive Help

Well i purchased a 750gb last August for my mac and it worked great. Then one day i put my Imovie HD project in the hard drive. and i went to open it up it says

"The project “EDIT” was saved with an older version of iMovie HD. Opening it in this version will cause it to be upgraded, which will make it unreadable by older versions. Are you sure you want to open it?"

Then i press open and imovie just closes. Then when i try to drag it to my desktop it just won't.


Help please.

Maybe try reinstalling iMovie and trying again? Or do you have a friend with a Mac that you could try transferring the project to? Or maybe your project is corrupt for some reason. I'm not too sure, I use Windows 7 and Ubuntu
