Hola,
I've had an idea for a while now, to make a vid of my Subaru with two microphones. I want to wire up mic #1 to the engine (turbo/BOV) and mic #2 in the rear for the exhaust (Brrroaawww). I'm wondering if anyone knows of an adapter I could get to put two 1/8" mics in my go pro?
Why?....well, it's dissapointing to see all these youtube vids, of guys with $40k+ cars, who film their cars with a digital camera and say shit like "oh yea, well, you can't hear this because of XYZ"...NO EXCUSES for me.
If not, is there another way to do this? I could run three separate cameras, but I would like to skip the whole synchronizing thing and do it all in one shot. Not to mention I'm trying to get the best quality...
I could run it through a mixer, but I'm in my car, so I'm limited for space and all that stuff. I could work through a macbook/windows laptop if there's a program out there? Could I just plug two mics into a splitter and it'll work? I probably should have some kind of mixer though...
My sister is in music at McGill, so I'm pretty sure I have access to any equipment.
Later concerns involve wind noise and such, but that'll be a whole other bridge to cross.
Gracias,
Fuhrer Lorida.
