I need help with FTP servers FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to send in files for my friends superunknown edit before midnight and I have no idea how to use ftp clients. I've done it before but totally forgot. Which client should I download? and How do Join the server? I have the password and log in but I don't know how to join a server. Please help!

Use command prompt.

ftp + your ip address for the server

It would be better probably to submit it the other way. I thought that level 1 was allowing ftp just as a bonus. If you have no idea go the other route. FTP is tricky the first time. Although overall it is a great way to transfer files.
