maybe theres an entire alien species network all strapped with thier own type of pimped interstellar travel vehicle. ok, so aliens figured out the nuances of intergalactic travel and probably skirted the whole 'speed of light' bullshit to come a few fucking miles from the crust of the earth??

if they could get near here they could probably chill out by saturn and just look at us through their cameras/other instruments because their shit would be off the chain

if I was a grunt on an alien ship and the captain decided to get THAT close to a planet, i'd be fucking pissed!!!
