i laugh every time i hear them talking about skier cross. skier cross originated from moto cross (albeit through snowboarding) - a cross between racing and freestyle. some people spelt it "skier X", with the "X" denoting "cross". the idiot commentators then started calling it skier x. morons. its skier cross.
