I though they were on the right track for style with best method comp and street comp

To be honest I dont really think they were defending him that much. By saying something about it they were calling out the fact that he was wearing that stuff in the first place. I hate shaun white but in the end no one can deny that he fucking rips the half pipe. I think thats really all there is to it. Hes gonna continue to get ridiculous sponsor, wear ridiculous things and get people to hate him but in the end hes a competitor and hes good at it.

this isn't as much as an attack on shaun white as it is espn, yes he rips in the halfpipe but we don't have to hear about him every 15 minutes, there are way more competitors that deserve to be mentioned yet it seems to have become the shaun white and company games.

But he did look rediculous........
