I was just wondering what ns would say is the average lifespan of a park/all mountain ski. I ride a little park, a fair amount of woods, and then the rest of the time I spend just doing normal trails coaching. What should I expect as far as durability for a ski? I have been on nordica ignitons for a while (4th season, but i have been skiing a lot more the last 2) and they are getting pretty beat up, to the point where the tip of the right ski is splitting open. If there is anything I can do to reverse the damage, that would be helpful, but I am also wondering if it is expected for the type and amount of riding I do, and if there are any similar skis that hold up significantly better (i have heard ar6/7's are pretty bombproof).
Thanks and let me know if you need clarification.
Sparknotes: east coast, nordica ignitions, ski woods and a little park, skis beginning to show fairly significant damage, want to find out if it is normal or if other skis are more durable
