Yeah he basically flubbed the landing on that but I guess they were like "what if we don't give it to him now and he falls on run 3? Our storyline will be ruined." To quote Andy Mahre circa 2005 or something, "who cares who wins a fucking TV show", hopefully there are some good 3rd runs to watch whatever they score them.

I feel like the same thing happened to Jossi in big air. He was throwing down dun 12's and stomping the landing like a boss but got eliminated. FUCK XGAMES. Its not even fun to watch anymore because only the big stars win and the people who should win get shafted.

I only decided to watch it this year because i got sick and was stuck at home, but this years Xgames was SO unentertaining..

Who wants to watch people speed checking and falling constantly on slopestyle, and a big air huck fest (which is was - fucking terrible 30 minutes of television).

I was tempted to turn it off and put refresh on.

It's not about the sport anymore..... it's about Oakley, Jeep, ESPN and the Navy! lulz....

Thats what i said last year i was lucky enough to catch one of harlauts slope runs and a couple of his big air hits when i was taking breaks from skiing and thats all i needed to get my XTREME GAMES fix.

Oh no you misunderstand I'm not surprised by any of it and I still enjoy watching it I just thought it was unbelievably funny that they actually ADMITTED it on live TV in such a way as to say "this is the way it's supposed to be".

more the people who get downright outraged every year over every little thing, and somehow expect that one year a run of cork 3 blunts is gonna beat dubs.

when it comes down to it, i dont care. dubs are cool, its one of many directions the sport can go, if i want steeze ill go watch a video. maybe a few kids who thought skiing was lame might change their mind now, or even better go buy a pair of twins and start riding.



the real question is, how can we get espn to give skiing a real street comp for next year?
