Boot is too big,,,

Buy a extra large sock. And then wear the "regular" sock in your foot that fits in the boot and wear the extra large in the boot that is to big. Hope it helps. Otherwise you can go to a bootfitter that can compress your boot.

Bootfitter.  Buy new boots.

my guess would be to try and maybe get a size smaller liner for the boot you have a smaller foot as i think that or a thicker sock on one foot woud be your best bet...obviously can't go with two diffent boot shell sizes

take them into a boot fitter, plastic is by nature very modifiable, simply heat and move, compression is a little harder, but they can usually wrap you liner with an ankle lock ( dense foam which serves to lock your heal down). Along those same lines, they have an even denser product they use to beef up the bottom of you liner, this presses your foot tighter to the top of the shell thus tightening the fit. Also it would be advantageous to get a heat mold-able insole, this both ads a layer of insole about 1/4" thick, but also provides superior arch support which not only makes you boot tighter fitting, but also prevents foot movement on it's own a bit.

Cheers bro. Having lived with boot that were to big in the past, I would recommend in the future buy local, and make sure you spend a solid half and hour in the boot in the shop chilling, that way you know how i'll feel once the boot starts to conform to your foot.

If it truly is a full size smaller, he can run two different sized boots.  He just has to take both boots in when his skis get mounted and have a dedicated left/right ski. 

If it was really the right boot for you, as in a perfect fit around your ankle, instep and width then your fit lengthwise wouldn't really be an issue.

Shibby is right - if your boot locks your ankle and heel in place there is no reason for extra length to be a problem. In my full tilts I get loads of toe room, warm feet and awesome heel hold.

i have the same problem with one foot being almost a whole size larger than the other, but i've always tried to find boots somewhere in the middle. it sucks tho, so i feel your pain. you could try zipfit liners--i've heard they take up space so it might solve your problem, and since they are heat moldable they'd probably stretch enough to still have a comfortable fit on the big foot. also, like everyone said, if you don't already have custom insoles, definitely get them--they'll keep your foot from shifting around so much.
