My roommates and I have been trying to foster dogs for so long and all of a sudden we get offers for 6 different ones, so we're taking two..... they are on there way here right now! SO EXCITEDDDDD! I had to tell someone/everyone!!!!!

Honestly the best behaved puppies I've ever seen in my life. The four month old has not made a peep and loves to hold hands, never jumps, and sits without even telling him to. The one month old is just effing tiny and cute. Pictures to come.

i saw a 9 week old german shepard puppy today, i genuinly wanted to hit the guy over the head with my boots, snatch the thing and run it was so damn cute.

i did too but my dog is terrible about staying behind me. she gets so excited to go down that she just bolts and i've almost hit her a couple times

mine cut (more like huge fucking gash'ed) himself on my skis chasing me. had to carry him in my arms down 3/4 of the mountain and then walk back to my house. my arms haven't ever been that sore.



Lorelle, how did you get a one month old puppie? was it abandoned? normally, you're not supposed to be able to get a puppie until like 8 weeks i think. What kind of shepherd is it?

Both were abandoned and dropped off at a kill shelter in Montreal. A woman in Burlington goes to Montreal routinely to save as many dogs as possible. The little one is actually 6 weeks old, but still, we took him in under the agreement that he would stay here for at least a couple months until he grows and socializes a bit and is house-trained, then she will rehome him. Now she's saying her neighbor already wants him, so I don't know!

not even. only intense part was the first 48 hours and trying to keep the runt alive. other than that, it was an amazing experience.


my last roommates didn't even tell me one of their dogs was pregnant when i moved in and I ended up having to help her deliver her 4 puppies hella drunk when i came home after a party. now thaaaat was intense....
