I don't know why this thread got resurrected, but if anyone is seriously considering that using the symbol shouldn't be a big deal. you need a harsh reality check. I've twice heard people speak who either had a parent in a concentration camp or were actually in one as a child. It is chilling - the sheer evil and depravity is unimaginable. One story I remember is how during the winter they would put metal beams in water, then make the prisoners stand on it until their feet froze to the beam. Then they would push the prisoners off, tearing all the skin off their feet.

Seriously, go to the Holocaust museum and consider. The Third Reich was one of the most demonic, sicking powers in world history, especially in a such a recent time. Our generation hasn't seen anything close to it unless you've been to Africa. But please, have enough respect, dignity and originality to not have to use a symbol of an officers group that made a living murdering people.
