totally deserves it! too bad they scored him a 93 and not a 91.5...a 93 puts so much preasure on the others...and why does andreas get so low scores?
i just wonder how russ got 94 in elimination for the exact same run he put down now!

No way. Best judging there has been in a long time. They probably took 5 points off of Andreas' run for not hitting the canon. Along with that his rails weren't amazing and the first twelve wasn't anything spectacular. What was spectacular was the dub octo. That has been a long time coming and was excellently done. I think he ended up right where he deserved and I think for the first time in a long time they actually got everyone right where they should be.

If they held the slopestyle at night there would be much more consistency in light and snow speed.

In any case, I am very happy that Sammy won ! Favorite slopestyle run I have seen.

Yea I know :/ .. But I think its bullshit. Whats harder to do? a bs 630 of a canon box? or a cab 10 grabbed to the very end. I still think its fucking wack that sammy won :( .

good thing they plan these events real well....

how hard is it to fucking make a schedule, or at the very least, turn the lights on to eliminate shadows.

3 of the final 14 runs weren't completed. please figure it out for next year x games.

cause in my opinion, he had just leftside spins on the rails!  and no grab on the canon! and on his right double the last 180 was a little twisted in (doesn't really count)! maybe u can explain me: why does russ get a 94 in elims for pretty much the same run he showed now?
nevermind we all agree sammy killed it today and stomped everything clean! i was just bumbed causet that high score in the beginning made all the athletes take more risk, and due to flat light that was maybe too much for many of them! and i'd prefer seeing a slopestyle comp with a lot of stomped runs!

But once again it doesn't matter what is harder. It's what the judges wanted to see. And, when he has a double right 12 (can't remember if it was switch) grabbed just as long as his sw right 10 it kinda makes sense that the 10 was a little unremarkable.

No, its a directv one. I'm tempted to buy a dvd recorder than record onto dvds and transfer that onto my computer, but funds are tight right now so we'll see.
