I've recently demoted my K2 Extremes to my urban/rail beater skis and was wondering if it was beneficial to wax them for urban.
I can't see myself needing the extra speed from wax for the features we have locally, so I'm more wondering if the wax is needed for sliding MOSTLY rails, with maybe a few ledges. I'm not too concerned about the bases as they are fucking beefy on these skis. I just don't want to waste money and good wax on skis where it isn't completely necessary.
So will it hurt my rail game by neglecting to wax them, or make it notably easier by keeping them waxed?
