I have to take my cousins to a ski lesson today at a resort named Uplands. Passes are like 20 bucks so i figured why not go ski there for an hour or two, but the resort is about 150 feet tall and they haven't sey up their park yet. Basically, I need a list of things that I could do to entertain me. So far, I have:

Build a treetap/some booter thing
Practice carving switch
practice presses/butters

So NS, what are some things that I could do at a resort with literally nothing?

in my opinion, the best way to improve your game/stlye is to go down the runs, finding some little natural features here and there, and then just be creative and imagine ALL the shit you can do off those, and different ways of linking everything together and just making it smooth as fuck. ya you can beeline straight to the park everyday and do some 3's off of well made jumps, or you could learn to look at a small bump or drop on a run or on the side of a run, and learn to do some diiirty shifties and butters and switch 180's and shit like that and then when you eventually do get in the park, you'll have a lot more control/creativity/style. thats the way i look at it anyways

and at the same time you'll be improving your actual skiing at the same time as yu're going down the hill instead of only your tricks

True dat. I don't always bee line to the park though, I like doing actual runs, so my skiing isn't in need of much work. but style would be a good thing to work on. thanks.

ya yo, cus honestly, for me anyways, i'd rather keep practicing smaller tricks and being able to throw a fuckin diiiiirtyy 180, 360 or 540 where ppl see you do it and theyre like «oh shit that was filthy» rather than throwing some sketchy/average 720 and being like alright lets move on to cork 9's now

work on your try run style. look for rocks, tree branches anything to jib over/on/under/through, etc
