Um... is taco bell trying to kill people?

just saw on colbert report that the taco beef from taco bell is actually only 35% beef. the rest is filler... one of the ingredients being silicon dioxide.... which is found in sand and is typically used in the production of glass windows....

did some quick research and it seems to be true.  please see the ingredients of the chili and the ground beef on taco bell's website...

and then read about this substance on wikipedia... it apparently causes cancer.

is this the same fucking thing?  or something else... because if this is true i believe taco bell is about to have one hell of a lawsuit on their hands.

either way... im never eating there again.

I'm happy that the only ingredient in lettuce is lettuce.
Did you guys see how far down rice was on the rice ingredient list? gross.

After working fast food for 4 years, I've gathered some information on foods that are processed. Any word I don't understand, doesn't sound all too good for me. It's bad enough how it's made in the kitchen for you (not really, but to a point), but the processing and ingredients (like said Taco Bell), is just gross. 35% is terrible.

I'm happy I don't eat fast food anymore. It's so gross.
This one time!, I ate Taco Bell (or Time), threw up in the parking lot 10 minutes after.
Never will I eat at any of those places.

I don't eat meat though to begin with. So I shouldn't worry all too much.

The day that aired on yhe news, I orders 15 tacos and my friends and I ate them. Who cares? It'll only kill you if you eat it every day (Which you'd die even if it were 100% beef anyway)

yes. I don't know about grass fed beef (although I heard it's amazing), but grass fed milk is so much yummier than poo and corn fed milk

and personally... I prefer real burritos... or falafels, which are cheap and tasty

i only eat there once every coupe years though, but i trusted the beef, just not down with fast food.

i think this is just like the chicken nuggets pink meat deal that got blown out of proportion.
