I don't like that song, but seriously, make a free body diagram, and draw the vertical component of the normal force on the skis from the snow, and examine the torque that it exerts on your body. that makes the skis go up and your head go down. the horizontal component tries to push the skis back under you.
I am in my first year of engineering at college, if i couldn't do that much, i might as well have dropped out on the first day.

cool story bro, Does a pilot know more about making a plane than an aeronautical engineer? does a "better skiier" and a self proclaimed bum know more about physics than a non bum in college taking physics for engineering?
