Where to work next winter. Help!

So due to some family connections, I have the chance to leave school next winter and either work at Squaw or Keystone. I've been to a couple places in summit county but never keystone and I've never been to lake tahoe. Anybody have some good advice as to which place would be a more enjoyable one to work at for a season? For reference, I do a lot more tree skiing and big mountain than park although I'd be open to doing a little more park skiing

To eleaborate on this post for being correct.

I skied summit county for 4 years.  Was it fun?  Yeah.  Do I like tahoe A LOT more, fuck yeah.  A lot of tahoe resorts get TWICE as much snow as keystone, that should be a wake up call right away.  Not to mention the Terrain in tahoe is a SHIT ton better than most anything in summit county.  If you're looking @ other places I would go to jackson.  Its the best single mountain IMHO but the park is lacking.  If you want to be able to ski multiple mountains then jackson wouldn't really work (taking into account you want to ride park one day big mountain the next).  Your three main choices are Salt lake, summit which is alright or tahoe.  Its truthfully a toss up between tahoe and utah in my book, but probably not in others.  Research around and hit me up if you make it out to Tahoe.

If you want to drink, Utah is out of the question for decent booze. I would go Tahoe if you want to ski AND party.

yeah I think that squaw would be the better choice. It's just that I have a much better chance of getting the keystone job. I'm gonna just try to get both and see what happens

Why are you limiting yourself to only keystone and squaw? Are you planning on being a lifty? I love squaw to death but imho its not the best mountain in tahoe, to crowded. Keystones park is the best in summit in my opion but for other terrain its the worst.

Tahoe may get as much snow brah but it's Sierra Cement. I'd take CO's limited champagne pow any day over Tahoe's shit. That's just me though...

I agree with you that Jackson would be amazing to work at. I've always wanted to spend more time there. Squaw also probably has sicker terrain than Keystone... I'm gonna say other areas in Summit could definitely compete though.

Overall Keystone is my least favorite mountain I've ever been to. It's boring and IMO all the runs are the same. I'd only go there for park, but I never actually care to make that drive.

If you're going to work at a Vail Resort I would recommend NOT Keystone.

Out of the 340" kirkwood has gotten this year about 50 of that has been the "sierra cement"

The only thing summit that is better than tahoe is the park. And truthfully after hitting the bullet proof jumps that are breck keystone etc... and hitting the soft jumps at tahoe you would be dumb to not want to ski tahoe jumps 24/7.

champagne powder? The stupid ass term coined by steamboat? No.

Tahoe has more girls, more snow, softer jumps, better terrain.

Summit has nicer parks, less snow but better quality .

^Thats what it boils down too,
