Call of Duty: space warfare

So apparently sledgehammer is making the new call of duty, the same people that made dead space. And based on their prior work rumor has it they could be producing a space oriented call of duty. and i dunno about you but i dont wanna be killed by a lazer, or have some ridiculous space creature called on me as a killstreak, but this could be just me. anyone down for a space call of duty?

i think it could be so sick if they do it right. The current cal of duty hasnt changed in years and is the same shit just different levels and guns. If done properly, could be insane.

they are def not doing a space warfare, any thing infinity ward produced and co-produced they will keep doing the MW series until they run out of ideas and stops making money but once they do then they may do that.

the next cod will be released this next fall, made by infinityward, and wiull be a prequel to cod 4 centering around the character "soap" from cod4, activision already confirmed this

halo =/= cod in space, halo combat is much different than cod combat. In halo combat last long because you don't die fast with most weapons, in cod you can die quick with most weapons. In cod if you're shot first you die 90% of the time, halo you stand a chance because you die way too slow.

because vietnam was terrible. Do you really want to play a game where you walk through a thick jungle, with no visibility...then hit a nearly invisble trip wire, and die?

I think it was Conflict:Vietnam that had fairly realistic vietnam style warfare, and it was terrible; getting shot from every angle, unable to see anyone, hitting trip wires etc. It was interesting, but absolutely no fun.

WWI would be hilarious. Sit in the trench for 2 weeks, then get shot as soon as you charge over the top.

I want an mw3 just because I like the direction the plot has taken. Pretty interesting.

I'd also like another WWII game. Apart from the 1st cod, there really hasn't been a good one since medal of honor allied assault.

oh, and for fuck's sake COD, not every single vehicle you ride in needs to blow up, crash, etc. One crash would probably kill you, yet somehow it happens 6 times in 3 missions. Every goddamn helicopter, jeep, tank, landing craft...blows up.

I hope that Crysis 2 becomes more popular than COD. Seriously I want something new. COD has had its day. Just as Halo did. And it is getting old now. Crysis seems to have a perfect mix between Halo and COD.
