You could go for the classic stinkbomb.

It's pretty sweet to do with your friends... go to the middle, have a signal drop them and stomp on them. Or if you want to be more sophisticated have a group of friends at random points in the auditorium, gym, wherever you have the dance. It's fun to do it by doorways as well as in the middle of the grinding mass of people.

there was this kid at my cousins school who thought he was a jedi.... he set up a harness on top of there 30 ft high balcony above the caf. he swung down and threw catsup packets at people and he ha a toy lightsaber that he threw down. he was up for 45 muinets before coming down and sprinting out the door. he was also in full costume the whole time

someone did the crickets at my school during an assembly once. it was hilarious, because the girls freaked out and the guys had a massive schoolwide cricket crushing contest. I got like, 32 or something and I dont even know anyone else who got more than that :)

semi-related note, one time i was at the beach with a couple guys and ladies and we were skipping rocks and shit, and the ladies were just chillin and this old ass guy walks up and looks at me all serious and is like "always been that way, always will be that way. guys throw rocks, and girls sit on rocks" and then disappeared. i laughed but really, it's true, check it next time it's relevant. i bet your lady friends are chillin hard on the rocks shooting the shit and the guys are throwing rocks, shooting the shit

At home coming there were all these balloons, so me and my friends grabbed some pens and all the balloons, spread out, and we had about 30 people pop about 100 balloons in 10 seconds. girls were freaking out, guys were laughing, it was awesome
