Right hand = spin right?

My friends all say spinning to the left is faster and easier but i like to spin to the right. Im right handed and im not sure if they are left handed. I can only spin 3's right now but i can 180 both ways about the same. Should i go for whats more comfortable with or try spinning the other way? What way do you spin and whats your dominant hand or are you equal?

Has nothing to do with right or left handed, more if you're regular or goofy. Just do whatever feels comfortable, why do you need someone to tell you which way to spin?

Your friend is wrong. Spin what ever way you are more comfortable with. Unnatural spins will come later.

Spinning direction is related to which eye is dominant. If you're left eye dominant you'll probably be more comfortable spinning right.

actually i think there was a point where i spun left but then it started to feel better to spin right. i can spin both ways now.

genrally, right handed = spin left, left handed = spin right

and

goofy = spin left
regular = spin right

also

goofy = right foot forward
regular = left foot forward.

but its goo to do things every way.

I'm in the same situation man, here's what I'm doing:

Learn all your spins the way you're comfortable with, and once that's down, work on the other way. Same with any kind of rail trick.

try spinning each direction an equal amount so you dont have an unnatural. but if right feels more comfortable and you dont feel like spinning both ways, go for it.
