copying dvds

Hey does anyone know how to copy a foreign (different region) DVD so it works on a regular DVD player? cheers

or you might wanna try dvdxrescue, makes exact copies.

DVDX copy works great for me and if you buy it off ebay you get DVD Rescue for free. On a related note, I have a bunch of 'backups' made of all my DVDs. But I cannot for the love of god find a way to make another copy of these copies. Everything I try ends up in an error. Any ideas
