Boots that dont work with certain bindings

so i have last years salomon spk kaos boot (same as this years) and rossi axial 120 binding. ive been having troubles with them falling off for a long while now and i finally found the problem. the heel of my boot bulges out so much that it doesnt let the binding fully snap into place, leaving a small gap between the base of my boot and my bindings brake.

im looking into getting rossi fks bindings but i want to make sure i wont have this same problem. anyone have this combination?

Are your heel lugs still in good condition?

ya the boots are basically brand new. its not the heel lug its the actual bulge above the lug for your heel bone that gets in the way and doest allow the heel piece to snap completely into place

could be forward pressure on the binding, or a defect in the boot. Are the bindings adjusted correctly?

the forward pressure is adjusted normally and checked by a ski tech and everything. you can see in this picture the is contact between the boots heel and the base of the binding heel piece which causes the heel of the boot not to be held down completely, resulting in a gap under my heel.

your dins are probably wrong. I dont see a differntial from boot to binding. the measurements are a standard across the board. tip 1. get sth bindings!  tip 2. have the forward pressure checked again.

tip 3. maybe crank your dins?  I only have had trouble with those bindings. alot more success with salomon or marker.

very weird. i know a bunch of people with that combo and it isn't an issue with them. I had the spk and fks combo though and it worked well for me. no complaints. I would take them in to have them looked at

din is at 10 and forward pressure is at the max line. regardless i just want to make sure i wont have a problem like this with the fks

I'm gonna go ahead and say that your forward pressure is not at max, cause it looks way too low.

i just replaced that brake on sunday. and the forward pressure is at the max line trust me, the toe looks normal.
