Photo editing software

Hey guys I'm wondering what you guys use for a photo editing software that's free?  I've used gimp before and I understand that's a pretty good program considering it's free. any ideas?

well theres not that much free photo editing software
if you go on youtube there are videos on how to get photoshop for free but otherwise id just search it on google

i was looking for the same type of thing for while, i found a few programs but they all were very limited and only did a few cheesy effects. i would just try to fond a decent torrent for photoshop, im still learning but its doing just what i was looking for.
