Anyone been to Woodward at Copper ?

it's so much cheaper (since I'm paying) than windells and if you book before feb 6th its 250 off so I'm thinking about it. I know it's cheaper due to less on snow-time but it seems fun on and off the slopes, plus i like to skate so i wouldn't mind going back so early. I want to ask someone who's actually been there how the experience was and was it worth the money?

Ummmm I've been to woodward and work marketing for copper and thefore woodward by association.

It's a pretty amazing experience, the snow stays nice and to have the ability to try everything into the foam pit first then move it to the air bag and then the snow makes the progression pretty fast and builds up the confidence.

The facilities are rad in that you have access to video editing and internet and all that as well as go carts and various other activities.

You still get all the pros here to instruct.

The coaches are rad. I believe 1 or 2 of the female coaches are olympic gymnasts... and the guy coaches are awesome and hilarious.

Totally as good if not better cause of the indoor facilities for a much more reasonable cost.

I'm thinking of sesh 7 cause it's affordable but is the park still going to be nice so late in the summer?

mhssc is even cheaper, and I thought it was pretty sick
no foam pit, but its only $1145 a session. just saying it could be an option

yeah that camps getting better but they have no after activities. The foam pits and air bags look perfect for learning which i want to start learning corks

Woodward is cool cause its all about learning...they aren't trying to sell you on pros and how dope the scene is. I'm sure its great to ski with all those guys at hood, but i $1800 bucks i alot for a high five and to sit and watch them session. I wanna learn

They are taking it back to how camps used to be before making money became the goal. Sure running camps is expensive because summer snow is scarce, but atleast have trained coaches...not people who just want to session.

Woodward is the place to go if you want to learn some new tricks...and not get hurt

The woodward coaches are super sick too. They are all super supportive and full of info on how to throw stuff. I have only been for the drop sessions but still learned a ton more then my friend who went to high cascade. Shit gets super tiring though having to pull yourself out of the pit.
