so i got my first drinking ticket last night and it sucked...but my question was what goes on in court? any tips or anything to help? btw i only blew a .016 so could that help me?

Wow thats pretty weak, just tell them you'd been drinking cough syrup or something of the sort. I think legally here in CT a minor can blow a .02 and be alright, but clearly that isn't the case for you. That sucks. One of my friends at school blew a .34 and didn't get a ticket for that shit.

i couldnt tell you what goes on in the states, but here in canada you can get away with alot of shit in the courts, espically with trafic violations becaue if the cop that gave you the ticket isnt there, the crown has no evidince and they cant convict you. and most of the time, the cop doesnt show up.

If you talk to someone whos a lawyer that usually helps...
Otherwise if you blow that, you should ask the cop for a 15 minute montering period where you can sober up and he'll give you another blow test 15 minutes later.

dude fuck drinking and driving its dumb...i live in colorado, but i think all i will get is a fine and some community service hours...but does anybody know if your record is cleared of misdemeanor/petty charges when you turn 18? i had heard that somewhere but im not positive
