In all honesty both are garbage plastic bindings. The only binding Marker makes thats good in my opinion is the Jester, but I've even seen cases of those breaking too. I recently had a pair of schizos and the heelpiece on the rail was defective and broke for no reason and sent me flying... not safe. So now Im riding deadbolts, which i suggest you do the same

i had the same thing happen but i have never had any trouble with the flat Jesters or the flat griffions, a lot of park skiers ski the jesters and the griffions as well as a fair amount of pros.
but the squires are not a binding that i would buy, they look pretty cheap to me, idk though i dont havea pair, but heres the weight for each,
the griffion schizo is 2150 grams
the squire is 1530 grams,
hope this helped.

Do not waste your money on shitty plastic bindings when you can buy good plastic bindings like the STH 12 driver or the FKS 120's.
If you are doing park, go for the FKS 120's before the STH 12's. You can usually find a pair on here for like $130.
If you are skiing powder, go fore STH 12 drivers, deadbolts, freeskis, all much better than marker.

Kellen, the shit I've seen happen with marker bindings sketches me out. A kid was 270 off a 1 foot high black pvc tube, not going that fast and rips out both of his heel, he had griffon schizo's.

by ripping out im pretty sure kangbang means the schizo rail system came apart, meaing that the plastic on plastic part broke, making boths heels lift. Similar to what happened to me but only on one of the heel pieces of the bindings. Deadbolts are way better options and you can pick up a pair from getboards for 220 I think right now for the 15's, which in my opinion is a solid price.
