Embarrasing moments in front of celebs

recently at the dew tour i was walking and decided it would be a good idea to slide down a small hill in my sneakers. I proceeded to fall hard on my ass and stand up to see colby james west laughing at me and my friend pointing and saying its funny cuz hes fat... then, as  i was walking away colby goes "watch your step" and laughs. shit was funny but embarassing.
any similar stories?

i was waiting for an elevator at my grandfather's condo several years ago, and when the door opened, dave dickenson (BC Lions CFL quarterback, and a pretty well known guy in the area) was standing alone inside. i couldn't figure it out who it was for a second, but as i was starring at his familiar face, i realized who he was, at which point he said 'you going up?' of course, as i was thinking of who it was, i kinda zoned out and just stood there like an idiot.

after, as i walked out when my floor came along, i said 'go lions' and he chuckled. cute.

I was on the lift with Wallisch and some little kid. (Maybe 6 or 7) The kid asked Tom if he was a pro skier. The lil' kid had no idea and Tom said yea, I thought it was kinda funny though. Definatly no embarrasing.

eventually Simon Dumont who was with him told him ITS OWEN! i didnt know if i was talking weirdly or if he just didnt understand but it was awkward

oh heres a good one. so me and like two other nser's work at a ski shop by our houses and we live where ahmet will and andy all grew up. We always get some pros to come to "the dome sale" this year it was ahmet. It wasnt me but apparentley in the bathroom my friend and coworker was takin a shit and ahmet and his like "manager" type guy came in. the manager also went in a stall for a shit and ahmet wanted to screw with him so he threw paper towels and stuff at him. turns out he wasnt getting any in the right stall and they were all hitting my friend haha

So... my boss who is usually the turkey day mascot had a meeting to go to. Comes to my desk and is all, "Rachel, want to be the turkey today?"
"Ummmm.... can you see my face?"
"Not if you wear sunglasses!"
"alright..."

So I put on the costume, I'm running around in the marking office laughing at how hysterical I look..

Turn around only to meet Simon Dumont and Justin Dorey... that was a very very awkward introduction.

At keystone last year I was stand at the end of the beginner and intermediate park watching these kids hit the last jump, and this dude next to me was making fun of them and commentating every jump which was funny as hell. I went down and hit the trap rail and he followed me with a 4 off and rode away..as I watched him ride away I was like, "that seriously looks and sounded like colby west." ha still dont know to this day if it was or not but I really think it was him

at mt snow dew tour last year at the snow barn i was fairly intoxicated, and began staring rather creeply at Colby West. He was talking to some girl and he looked at me asked me if i wanted to join their conversation. I sort of made some grunting/giggling noise and looked at my feet...im very smooth.

on nantucket my dad cuts houses in half and moves them more in-land since the beaches are eroding and to make a left turn he had to drive over Bill Belicheks lawn and white picket fence. His daughter came out screaming and them Bill came out and was like WTF

I sliced my hand open pretty badly at X Games, so I went to go get my dad who was getting his media pass. I tripped over threshold in the media trailer and reached out with my hands to prevent myself from falling but Tanner was standing there so I fell into him and got blood all over him. He saw me watching Big Air later on that week and came up to me and asked how my hand was doing though.

when i was at the 2008 masters i had some raunchy, like really really raunchy farts. it was insanely humid this one morning and absolutely no wind, so they were just hanging there.. anyway, was walking toward the first tee and i ripped a monster in front of this golf cart that was moving through the crowd. it was then i had realized that i just cropdusted tiger woods, who was sitting shotty in the cart... looked back and he was holding his nose, along with 15 other people.

I skimmed the thread, but not one person named a celebrity. Pro skiers are not any more famous than you or I.... Also actual celebrities aren't any fun to meet, I've had plenty of photo opps with celebrities but have only done it once. Why? Because they are people, and they hate being fucked with all the time.

They arent famous.Sure  its nice that a couple thousand 15 year olds know who Tom Wallisch is but in 10 years you will have no idea who he is. Also fame isn't one website dedicated to a small sport. Fame is David Beckham, Derek Jeter, Brad Pitt, and the like not Tom Wallisch, Elias Ambuhl, or Bobby Brown. If you saw Mike Nick, Skogen, Evan Raps, Boyd Easly, or an original skier from 10 years ago you'd have no idea who they were.
