Halo 2 Set to Make History on November 9, 2004


Limited Edition Halo 2 will be available for pre-order.

May 10, 2004—Microsoft Game Studios and Bungie Studios today announced that Halo® 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the hugely successful and critically acclaimed Halo®: Combat Evolved, will land on store shelves on November 9, 2004. In what promises to be one of the biggest launches in videogame history, Halo 2 will be the focus of an extensive marketing campaign that includes cinema, print, outdoor, online, and television advertising.

So, gamers, mark Halo 2's official launch date, November 9, on your calendars. To mark this occasion, Microsoft Game Studios will soon announce pre-order availability of a Limited Edition Halo 2, packaged in a unique metal box. In addition to the game, the metal box will contain a second DVD, loaded with special content. This exclusive two-disc set will include:

The Making of Halo 2: behind-the-scenes footage of Bungie Studios in action.
'Featurettes' on game design, animation, music, and more.
Cinematics and characters that were cut from the game.

halo is another one of the many things that rock my world.
i spent the night at my friends house last summer, and while he was at the grocery store for like 40 minutes, i got bored and saw that he had halo in his XBOX. so i sat down and turned it on when i realized he was close to beating it. feeling a little anal that he left without me...i decided that i would do him a 'favor' and beat it for him. when he got home he yelled at me. happy happy times.

the term 'fuck you'actually came from 'pluck yew' it was from when the english was fightin the french and the french would cut off the englishes middle finger because they used it to pluck the yew which was a bow and arrow....so they would show their middle fingers to the french

i went to a halo lan party a couple of weeks ago....... crazy...... we only had like 10 people, but you can get up to 16........ god, 4 boxes, 4 tvs set up on this big cabinet-stand thing, and a couple supersized bags of chips to pass around. wow.

i've heard that halo2 will support up to 16 XBOXES in a LAN setup...... that's 64 people!!!!!

i seriously might sell my PS2 and all the games i have for it, just to get halo and halo2. and project gotham racing 2, i think.

hmmn, spend 2 hours every once and a while playing video games alone, or spend 2 hours (or more) every once in a while playing with 16 friends? there's a difference between enjoying video games, and getting off on them.

ive never been a huge fan of video games, i end up buying them and stop playing them after 2 days..but HALO definately had me hooked to the end, too bad my xbox shit the bed
